Issue of relationship between size of the enterprises and socio-economic indexes of their functioning

Abstract

The article evaluated changes in social and economic indicators on the volume of land farms under the influence of mar-ket reform. The nature of relationship between the size of agricultural land and number of employees, size of individual tax liability, average wages in the example of Vinnytsia region are investigated in the paper. Particular attention is paid to the evaluation of the process of land concentration and their effects on the number of jobs as an example of great agricultural holdings. The survey results show no negative impact on the totality of these parameters with increasing amounts of land assets. There have been proved the limitations of using traditional statistical methods regarding the analysis of vast under-takings with large difference on the amount of land assets and, at the same time, the feasibility analysis problem in groups of companies for performance. Attention is focused on the need to review examples of specific companies that take into account factors of corporate culture, the interests and behaviors of owners and management companies. Prospects for future research is the analysis of the existing regulatory policy and its modernization due to the presence of clear, socially and economically approved guidelines to encourage behavior of enterprises that would provide development strategy with the creation of new jobs.
