Abstract

There has been done the simulation of the optimal motion model of an electric car with a traction induction motor by the horizontal road section, optimal by the criterion of minimum electrical losses, using the models synthesized by the authors, based on a mathematical model of the magnetization curve in the form of inverse hyperbolic sine and variational variant of the Lagrange`s indefinite multipliers method. Four simulation variants with different values of model parameters and different values of boundary conditions were implemented using the MATLAB application package. The obtained results are visualized by constructing appropriate graphs for the output coordinates of the models that characterize the optimal mode of motion.

The analysis of the results of all four modeling variants using synthesized models is carried out, on the basis of which it is established that the movement of an electric car on a horizontal section of the road, if its control system will implement the law based on synthesized models the electric car of the same distance for the same time will use the minimum consumption of electric charge of the power accumulator battery from which the electric drive of the electric car receives the electric power.

Thus, the simulation results and their analysis confirm the theoretical statements and the effectiveness of mathematical optimal motion models of the electric car by a horizontal section of the road, synthesized in authors’ previous works.
