Control system of drilling process parameters aimed at prevention of failures and complications

The paper considers problems dealing with elaboration of control system aimed at prevention of failures in the process of drilling. The system is based on the analysis of fuzzy (non-numerical)information regarding the parameters of drilling process. The developed system comprises linguistic description of technological events, connected with possible failures during drilling process. Operators use this linguistic description for decision-making in case of possible failures. The system allows to control drilling process parameters in real-time mode, that enables to achieve high technical and economic indices and prevent failures.Downloads
