Abstract

The analysis, physical and chemical research of used automobile catalysts were conducted. The average content of metals of platinum group (MPG) in catalysts of different types was determined and the methods of their utilization are investigated. The variants of recurrent-use of extracted MPG for obtaining new automobile catalysts are suggested. Influence of the degree of grinding shallow of used motor-car catalysts on output of metals of platinum group (MPG) using hydrometallurgical method has been investigated. It is established, that efficiency of the acid extraction of MPG grows with decrease of grinded particles size.
