Application of nonlinear programming for design of distributed wastewater treatment systems of industrial plants
Keywords:
nonlinear programming, synthesis of distributed effluent treatment systems, mathematical models of treatment processes, stream split coefficientsAbstract
The procedure of synthesis of distributed effluent treatment systems is proposed. It is developed on the basis of the conceptual methods and nonlinear programming with mathematical models of treatment processes and allows to calculate new and retrofit existing wastewater treatment systems. Superstructure of wastewater treatment network is described by stream split coefficients. It is shown, that decentralized treatment systems possess a number of advantages as comparison with existing treatment networks of industrial plants.Downloads
