IMPROVEMENT TRIALS ON STAND TRIALS OF REDUCERS OF PASSENGER CARRIAGES

The article considers the peculiarities of thermal processes in bench trials in different modes of gearboxes of the type of WBA 32/2 included in the gear-propeller drive generators of passenger cars. There has been experimentally confirmed the presence of the characteristic zone, which has the signs of the existence of regularities in the rate of heating of the gearbox depending on its technical condition. There have been installed additional checkpoints heating of the case in time trials gearbox on the stand, in which the temperature measurement can be the basis for expert opinions on the diagnosis of the technical condition of the gearbox. It has been suggested to improve thermal method of nondestructive control of the technical condition of the reducer by the application of additional diagnostic parameter that is the rate of heating of the gearbox in time, which enables to reduce testing time and bring significant energy savings. There has been detected limit value of the heating rate reducer, which corresponds to a satisfactory state of the object.
