GEOINFORMATION ANALYSIS OF AREAS WITH SLAGHEAPS USING SATELLITE IMAGERY
Keywords:

Procedure of estimation slagheaps anthropogenic impact on the environment of surrounding areas has been presented. It is based on information model of fire danger and takes into account information about the state of vegetation, temperature and surface humidity. An approach to conducting geoinformation analysis of urban areas, vegetation sites, water bodies and open soil density within slagheaps buffer zones has been proposed in order to identify areas exposed to negative effects of decay products. Approbation has been conducted using Landsat-TM multispectral satellite image.
