Liquid level measurement in oil wells by acoustic method. Present state, problems, means.
Keywords:

Present state of liquid level measurement in oil wells by acoustic method is reviewed. Problems of acoustic velocity account in casing annulus of oil well and creation of echo ranging system using complex waveforms are considered. The method using determined complex waveform of controlled parameters that enables to separate collars responses and to determine more accurately acoustic velocity distribution along the well is proposed.Downloads
