Analysis of maintenance quality of local area network Ethernet

Parameters of network operation have been obtained, histograms of time interval distribution between packages arrival and histogram of lengths of package length distribution have been constructed. Mean values of time intervals between packages for one computer is 57 ms, percentage of short reports messages is 53 %. The influence of the quantity of computers of different carrying capacity on maximum queue length , average number of packages in a queue and mean time of package queuing are defined. For stable operation of the network, it is necessary that the carrying capacity of the system be not less than 4 Mb/s.References
